Improve Spiritual Wellbeing: Touch Your Values Daily
Spiritual Wellbeing isn’t limited to religion. Making time for identifying meaning, reflection, and alignment with your values are spiritual practices in and of themselves. When you know and honor what matters most to you, decisions and stress feel easier to handle. If you marked this dimension as a (!) in your Student Wellbeing Check-In, identifying your values is a great place to begin.
First Steps You Can Try Today
- Write your values. Put your top three values on a sticky note near your desk.
- Take five minutes of quiet. Walk, focus on your breath, or just sit in silence without your phone or agenda.
- Spot meaning. Write down one moment that felt important or grounding today.

A Weekly Habit to Keep Going
Set aside ten minutes once a week for reflection. Write in a journal, record a voice memo, or talk it through with someone you trust.
Stack It With Another Dimension
Include a gratitude practice as part of your before bed reflection time to support Physical Wellbeing through better sleep.
If You’re Stuck
Explore campus groups focused on service, mindfulness, or worship. Sometimes being with others helps you connect more deeply with yourself.
Quick Check-In Cue
At the end of the week, ask yourself:
Did I feel more grounded in what matters most to me?
